After studying nursing, Cecilia Marreiros Marum started her training in animation cinema at the La Cambre Animation School in Brussels. Her films are relentless variations on one theme – the search for a soul mate. She has also taken part in readings and recordings of literary works for blind people. She now works as a photographer for architects, a prop artist, a costume designer for theatre and a book illustrator. She has made several animation films which have been shown at the Plein le Bobine festival throughout the years, some of which appear in this year’s tribute to Belgian cinema.
