For all ages
Prize-giving ceremony for the three short film competitions, followed by a screening of silent films with live music by the
Marode/Gherbi Jazz Trio.
During four burlesque short films by the great Buster Keaton, the Trio revives the magic of early cinema. As the three talented musicians play an original jazzy score with room for improvisation, we are taken back to the screening conditions of the time – and cinema retrieves its original entertainment purpose.
Double bass, piano and drums – a very refreshing line-up for all ages!
Buster Keaton is one of the biggest names in burlesque cinema and was often cited by Charlie Chaplin as his master.
